These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PayFyre application, website, and payment services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by PayFyre Ltd. ("PayFyre", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in Trinidad & Tobago to open a PayFyre account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and 4-digit PIN, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
The PayFyre wallet is a stored-value account that lets you hold, send, receive, and spend funds electronically. Funds in your wallet do not earn interest and are held in accordance with applicable regulations.
Wallet limits apply based on your verification level. Level 1 (unverified) accounts are subject to lower daily transfer and balance caps; completing identity verification (KYC) unlocks higher limits and additional features such as bank withdrawals.
You authorize PayFyre to debit and credit your wallet to complete the transactions you initiate, including transfers to other users, QR payments to merchants, deposits, and withdrawals. Transfers between PayFyre accounts are generally instant and cannot be reversed once completed.
You are responsible for ensuring that recipient details and payment amounts are correct before confirming a transaction. We are not liable for payments sent to an incorrect recipient as a result of information you provided.
Opening and maintaining a PayFyre account is free. Certain transactions — such as sending money and withdrawing to a bank account — carry a fixed fee disclosed to you before you confirm the transaction. Merchant accounts are subject to per-transaction processing fees.
We may change our fees at any time. Current fees are published on our Pricing page, and material changes will be communicated in advance.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose, including money laundering, financing of illegal activity, or transactions involving prohibited goods or services. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or interfere with its operation.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are engaged in prohibited activity, and may report such activity to the relevant authorities.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayFyre is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
You are not held liable for transactions we determine to be unauthorized, provided you have complied with these Terms and reported the issue promptly.
You may close your account at any time after settling any outstanding balances. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and its users. On termination, any remaining wallet balance will be returned to you, subject to applicable verification and legal requirements.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad & Tobago.
